James C. Ferrell grew up in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, where both of his parents were Professors at Illinois State University. He moved to Texas and attended the University of Texas in Austin for his undergraduate and law school education. He served as an intern to the Texas Supreme Court’s Senior Justice during his final year of law school.
Mr. Ferrell’s litigation responsibilities have included trials in state and federal courts as well as arbitration before the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Ferrell is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has been selected as a Super Lawyer every year since 2014.

Licensed to practice law since 1993, Mr. Ferrell is admitted to practice in Texas, Illinois, and Mississippi.
